Leander is a 78L which is Mr Bennetts second Piper barge, the first being a 65L.
Simon Piper went to the launch to commission her and take her from the Medway back up the Thames estuary to Imperial Wharf with Mr Bennett, who crossed the Channel last month and is now making his way to Paris.
