Our latest launch will be a 60M Motor Class Dutch Style Barge Motor Class Dutch Style Barge for Rick & Sandra from Surrey, it is being launched in Reading in early May.
‘Emily xx’ will be their second Piper Dutch barge after having first purchased a 49M Motor Class Dutch Style Barge, Nauti Buoy, in 2016. The idea being that they could get a feel for barge life on the Thames and then commission their own boat if barge life treated them well! Thankfully it did, and Rick and Sandra began the process of commissioning a much bigger barge, a 60 Motor Class Dutch Style Barge. The decision was made that something larger would suit them, with more space for family visits and entertaining. The chance to be involved in the design of the boat and to put their own individual style into the interior was surely a factor. The boat is a beautiful example of our 60 Motor Class Dutch Style Barge model featuring master and side cabin, ensuite, day loo and open plan/saloon galley.
