As the start of the cruising season is almost upon us it is important to check that all equipment onboard is working correctly before you set off, refer to your boat manuals.
– Engine check and oil change
– Belts check
– Battery check
– Electronic equipment check
– Inspect your safety equipment
– Grease locker lid hinges and rudder stock
– Review your insurance policy to make sure it is up to date
– Antifreeze should remain effective for 2-3 years of use, after that time it degrades so it needs to be changed every 2 years before the winter sets in.
