Our interior fit-out workshop has two versions of our 49-foot Dutch barge boats; a 49L Luxemotor and a 49M Motor.
The first one which will be making its way down to the Thames will be Thames Dipper for Ian and Marilyn from Berkshire. It will be completed next month in July, just in time to spend the summer onboard. The boat will be based at Harleyford and is one of our highest specification boats – all the luxuries you could expect from one of our boats. It is a one-bedroom 49M with a combination interior in oak and painted cream.
Ian and Marilyn are very experienced Thames boaters and have owned a multitude of boats in the past – we are pleased they are finally getting their hands on a Piper!
The 49L is for Vincent and Cecilia from Dorset. It has just started its journey in the interior workshop and will be finished in approximately 6 weeks.
It will be another one of the boats you will be able to see at our Henley show in September, it features the stunning open plan layout seen on Merlot and Plan B. Large bi-fold doors open into the saloon with a spacious fitted u-shaped settee at the bow. One of our favorite boats to build!
